Which is saying a LOT.

I think DCUM middle class. I'm kind of surprised by all of the hate given that these numbers aren't extremely high for DCUM. Very comfortable, yes, so middle class.

Agreed. Mid-40s here with $1.9mm spread between the accounts. Given 6% return we will have around $5mm at OPs age.

You are…fishing for compliments. Congrats op you got lucky. Maybe in your next life you will be born in a poor country to poor parents. You can’t take it with you.

I agree with this poster and have similar numbers, a little worse. We don’t feel that secure and are trying to figure out if we will have enough to retire comfortably. I guess IATA.

Yes, Pizza Hut screams that DCUM is home of the wealthy!

Mine advertises The Four Seasons, Ralph Lauren, and restaurants in St Barths. I haven't thought about Pizza Hut since HS...

There is a difference between asking here are my numbers/what can I do differently/ is it sufficient and asking if you are poor.

We have 6M in retirement, same paid off house, and feel MC, so I think you are MC

You can’t retire with 3M, you only get 120k (4% rule) which is 28% of your current 420k HHI
Don’t they recommend 80 percent of your pre-retirement income to maintain your lifestyle?
