Where to stop between DC and Michigan State (or Detroit)

| Cuyahoga national park is on the way. It isnt the best national park but it has some charm. The turnpike actually goes over the park but I’m not sure how far you would have to drive off the turnpike to get there. It doesn’t have an entry fee if I remember correctly because it is interspersed with tiny towns and houses. |
