Madeira Decisions

Omg stop asking multiple times on every thread that’s ever discussed Madeira. Once AGAIN:

There’s no timeline on waitlists. The most likely outcome is she doesn’t come off it. If they do call to offer a spot, it could happen anytime. Most common times are right around when decisions/deposits are due from accepted families, right around when tuition becomes binding (typically June 1; I’m not sure if that’s different for boarding), and during the summer.

This sounds like a student asking for themselves, so a little more patience perhaps?

Re your first paragraph, are you seriously talking to an 8th grader like this? Keep scrolling if you are that angry. The question is coming from a child who's trying to get information. Be kind.

Yes there is definitely still a chance of your getting in. Write a nice letter to the admissions director reiterating your interest, why Madeira is a good fit for you and how you’d like to be involved there (clubs, sports, drama, etc) and (if true), clearly state you will attend if offered a spot. Good luck!!
