I’m aware of my cycle, I’m also aware that I love sex the most when I’m ovulating. That’s not a time I want to sit it out.

So use a condom and/or pull out at that time. This isn’t complicated.

I mean it’s fine to just not want to use this method, but it’s silly to misrepresent what it is.

I'm with you OP. I'm 47 and dreading going off the pill. I love the pill. My obgyn said I don't have any risk factors and can stay on until low 50's.
