| Is this officially the lull between ED/EA and RD? |

Ivy League is a sports league and nothing more. It's not 1955. I've heard that MIT and Stanford are pretty good schools.
Given the chaos in the NCAA recently, it would behoove certain Ivy League schools to make a switch. Vanderbilt is making bank in the SEC. |
| You sound like a desperate wannabe OP. |

Replace Harvard with its up and coming neighbor….wait for it….go away haters……
Northeastern! |
| A school like Georgetown would have 0 interest in joining the Ivy League unless they were allowed to stay in the Big East or another power conference for basketball. |
and hockey ! |
|
Hopkins would be the most logical fit academically and athletically. They recruit heavily for their D3 sports already anyway and play D1 lax. MIT also fits the bill for the same reasons, except they are D1 for rowing.
|
Duke would never leave the ACC…(except for the SEC or B10). |
| DCUM is far higher on the Ivy League than your average person. I think it would be awesome to see if another league could come up with financial terms to lure a school away. I'd love to see the Big Ten make a legitimate move for Harvard! |
| In terms of removal, Dartmouth isn't the same level of overall research university as the other schools. They are also not very good athletically. |
the Ivy League is not 300 years old. |
Not much of a sports conference with 3 schools. This thread is wacko. |
| Add Depauw, top of all ivy |
Just MIT. It’s an east coast league. |
| Whoever joins would have to stop offering athletic scholarships. Would any school be open to that? |
