Where are people getting at home Covid tests that actually work?

And previous poster to add I was and am very paranoid and had no symptoms but knew my kid had it - test still showed it very clearly. Keep testing the test doesn’t matter.

I have had COVID a few times, and consistently found that I don't test positive until about day 5 after symptoms start.

We have tried numerous times on the free ones from DCPS only for the kids to test positive at the pediatrician the same day and on a separate occasion for DH to then test positive at his General Practioner. The brands have not worked in our home multiple times.

I would not be at all surprised if DCPS isn't storing or transporting them correctly. You don't want them beeing lower than 39 degrees or higher than 80 or so degrees if possible.

But yes people dont always test positive on antigen tests. False negatives are common
