Dye for dark hair for teen girl

To the PP - Why do people do this? She's a straight A student who doesn't go nuts with make up and is a great athlete. The one thing she would like is to be able to have some fun and have color in her hair like her friends. She is 12 years old - what is your problem???!

Since she’s a great athlete and straight As??? What? Just bring her to the best hair salon in the area. Don’t try and be cheap about it or she’ll look ridiculous.

My white/asian DD bleached and dyed the ends of her hair at a salon and it was beautiful. She put purple in, which looked great with her hair for the month that it lasted. But even after it washed completely out, the bleached ends were still really pretty. She kept that bleached part of her hair for months before cutting her hair.
