Had no idea this place existed and it looks amazing. Thanks to those pointing it out.

The Grove was good. Good food, service and great drinks. I worry it’s not going to be around for long, we were there Saturday night a few weeks ago and it wasn’t very busy. I’d say it’s a good shout for a date night.

Ugh I hope it doesn't go under! We really need good restaurants in this area.

I’m this pp who was worried it would go under. I finally went Saturday night at 8 and it was packed!

Zinnia in Silver Spring - good food, very chill, and the garden is especially lovely.

They recently lowered their prices which is unusual for a restaurant. Maybe that will help bring in more diners.

I hope so, because the menu I looked at (probably the old one) for the Grove is so ludicrously priced. Bruv...it is Potomac, MD. It ain't Nappa Valley or NYC. $50+ entrees, $20+ appetizers, $11 desserts, $9 sides. I don't even want to look at the prices for cocktails and wines. What is it supposed to be, 11 Madison Park? Good grief.

Yes I agree. We went it was ok. Not $50 an entree ok or $20 apps.

It's over hiped over priced blah...

Well that’s reassuring. I hope they stick around.

La Canela

Cooper’s Hawk is disgusting. Why do people keep mentioning it?
And the wine is awful, and their sales pitches awful.

It’s all marketing with no substance.

Not Caruso’s Grocery. Overpriced for what it is. Just a step above Olive Garden.

Prices are actually below $50, from $26-48, which is not even expensive for the area. The chef is ambitious and trying to get a Michelin star- I think it’s a bargain. And I’m tired of (with a couple exceptions) all the mediocre food in Bethesda and Potomac- I’m happy there’s a high-end place taking creative risks for such a conservative town. Plus it’s nice for a dress-up date night.

My favorite date in moco is the Glenstone for art and happy hour wine followed by inferno pizzeria.
