Felting kit for my 7 yo! We played around with felting a large Kyrgyz (i think) carpet during Smithsonian Folk Life festival, and he's been asking to stab needles at things ever since.

DD8: Apple watch (it was cheaper than a gizmo) and professional-quality markers (she's a pretty incredible artist)

DS6: Dinosaur toys and he got to watch the Jurassic World movie series
