To avoid the issues that come with Afrin overuse, I only use it in the evenings so that I can sleep. So, not even twice/day for me. Once at night only for no more than three nights in a row (most congestion is cleared up by then).
During the day, I am generally able to deal with nasal congestion but will take pseudoephedrine for the sinus pressure/headache. I won't take that at night due to the insomnia that it causes. So pseudoephedrine during the day, Afrin at night. |
Yes! Big fan of the nose strips. Positioned properly, I find they make a huge difference. I also sleep propped up when I’m most congested. |
