Fix the tits and buy a spanx

5'6, 130 lbs, four kids. I had the same issue and got my stomach done first. I had Lipo 360 last summer, and it was worth every penny.

Now that I have the ideal stomach, the saggy boobs stick out more. I will get them done sometime next year or the following. I absolutely see how people get addicted to plastic. You fix one thing and instantly see something else that could use a tune-up.

My entire body is toned except a belly that’s floppy—like you can grab it and pull it away from my body. I can’t wear jeans because the pooch won’t fit.

If I have to pick one — tummy tuck or boob job?

I am leaning one way but curious to know what you think! FWIW, I’ve never had body issues. Never dieted or wore makeup, etc. always thoughy people who did elective surgery were crazy! Clearly I lacked imagination and empathy! Can’t believe I’m even posting this!!!🤦🏻‍♀️

I read this description and I thought "wow that's what my boobs look like too!!" I'm quite a bit heavier than OP so it's a big glob of slime even farther down the wall. That's why I still read DCUM.

Therapy for your self-worth and ditch whoever/whatever is making you feel ashamed of your physical self. There's no amount of surgery that's gonna fix your body loathing.

You get one body for a short time on this planet. It made you kids. It has carried you everywhere you've been. I'm sorry our culture made you hate yourself this way, and you deserve to feel good about yourself.

I think you need to work on your self confidence. I dream of being your size, OP. You need to do better for yourself.

I decided to do just the tummy tuck. Breast implants have to be replaced every once in a while, and I'm not sure I'll be up for elective surgery at 50 or 60.

Plus, as one poster mentioned, a tummy really ruins a lot of outfits. I'm not a snazzy dresser, but it's hard to find clothes that fit my waist and still fit my "mother's apron." Man, I have so much more sympathy for all those people on the makeover shows. I used to think they were nutty, but living with these small annoyances every day really adds up. Saying this as a special needs mom myself--it's not the big stuff, but the everyday little meltdowns and needs that wear you down.

Dreading the recovery, though, as I heard the TT is brutal.

Thanks agian for all your fascinating posts!!!!!

I agree with going with a TT that said I want to share my experience with getting implants. I got them 25 years ago, when my DD was 1 yr old. My breasts looked like they were from a National Geographic centerfold. Awful. Anyhow I got/have silicone + lift. I have not had to replace them, they are intact. This idea that you have to replace them eventually is not accurate across the board. Good luck with your surgery!

If you are paying for anesthesia already boobs should only be like 4-5k more.

As previously posted, fixing one issue (with good results obviously) just starts the clock ticking on the other one that is bothering you.

Sure you can wear water bras or whatever now and then, but you still look in the mirror every day.

Always boobs. Tummy tucks are a complete waste of money.

Also my saline implants are going on 20 years and still look amazing. You only get them replaced if you need to🤷‍♀️

How old are you? Boobs change over your life and when you’re older boob implants look really bad.

Belly first than boobs

Why do you you say this?

Tummy tuck for sure. I’m 5’6” 135 (I lift weights, so I have good muscle tone) and I’ve had 2 kids. Shapewear can make my breasts look nice; spanx won’t resolve my excess skin issues. Planning a mommy makeover (lift, implants, tummy tuck, maybe some contouring lipo for a nicely defined waist) for 2024.

I’m with the other PPs. Is budget the issue? Because I would strongly consider breast work too if you can swing the few extra thousand dollars.

I was you. I chose tummy. No regrets.
