Private coaching age age 7 and 8?

My kids play hockey. We never invested in private skating lessons for my oldest, who now has bad form that we really can't break. We did some private lessons for my youngest when he was 7 to nail down good skating form and it was a good investment - the kid is a wonderful skater and that adds to his enjoyment of the sport.

Get a grip op

This is stupid no don’t need this let husband work with your kid if they want that

Mother of more than one division one athlete

You are literally going to make your kid have injuries that will stop them from playing in college

Been around the private trainers for about 3 years now, as my two sons are really invested in sports. My oldest is specifically doing sport specific now, lacrosse, and my youngest is just doing overall training with his trainer. She just getting him really strong overall and with these lights equipment too, has him incorporated his reaction in how he moves within his sport, basketball, and I see so much improvement and that why I feel as price can vary. As I haven’t seen anyone else do what she does

My kid has a weekly swim lesson and does karate twice a week right after school (done by 5). Some weeks, that’s even too much for him. Yes, I know he’ll never be a D1 athlete, so what? Not everyone wants to be.

Same here, my 7 year old does recreational dance once a week, and just started a Saturday morning gymnastics class. She's never done two days a week of sports like this besides summer swim, she's exhausted and in bed by 7.
