I'm not so sure about that. Any kind of open discussion about war and wars (historical and/or current) could be a good conversation starter. Another topic could be immigrants and immigrant bloodlines, if that feels like a better fit. As far as dancing, two-stepping is pretty easy and something that usually leads to good times, but you need to have an iPad or similar device, so keep that in mind.
