Will the Zoo still be free admission without the pandas.

We were there yesterday. Hardly any animals out anc the ape enclosure was locked, no elephants, a couple of sleeping lions far away, if I even saw correctly
30 bucks to park! Lots of food stands, though. Almost impossible to find an entrance, everything blocked off. Oh, pandas left just before we got there. It was a bust.

Yes they are still there and fun to watch. They were with the great apes a few days ago when we went as the other building is under renovation I think. The newly renovated bird house is a really nice exhibit and they have flamingos, spoonbills, and lots of other interesting birds on the outside part. Plenty to see without the pandas!


Which part is fun? The part where they compulsively vomit and then eat their vomit, over and over again every few minutes.

It always makes me sad to go into the ape house. Poor animals.
