Starting Foreign Language in MS and finishing up early in HS

The point of colleges requiring high school foreign language IS it is required in college (generally speaking) The student will have to complete college foreign language requirements to graduate. The college would prefer that the student go in well prepared, likely to be successful.

College: it's not just about getting in, it's about getting out.

Elite universities want to see FOUR years of foreign language (preferably AP) in HIGH SCHOOL. period Because they then will want to see one toi two years of their own foreign language built upon that because they think they are "building citizens of the world" who will have to engage in many languges. google it. THAT'S WHAT THEY WANT TO SEE.
