I mean call the school and say what? I’ve had two kids go through there and haven’t seen this personally. If there are pictures that can be shared I’d be happy to but I’m not gonna call and say I heard there’s mold based on a stranger on a random message board. For what? It’s worth my kiddos in seventh also but has not mentioned that’s even though I asked them.

Williamsburg is on the short list of schools APS picked for reno's. Wonder if they intend to do anything about the mold?

Hopefully they will also address to teacher bathrooms. Do you know that in one of the teacher bathrooms they use child size toilets, like the miniature ones?

no I did not and that is odd, but I am still much more concerned about the mold.

I believe that people are saying they have seen mold, but you really need to take pictures. What I will say is that I spent a lot of time in the building last year, I have allergies and a big sensitivity to mold, and I never experienced any issues. That doesn’t mean anything, but if there was mold at that time, I probably would’ve been having an issue.

Omg, so based on a sample size of one, you are sure the building is fine. Well here's another. My kid has allergies and asthma and is sensitive to mold. Started coughing and needed an inhaler every time they went into that dank cave of a building.

Again, I would urge parents to order mold test kits, ask their students to obtain samples while at school, and see what the testing shows. Here is one example of a kit (you can use it DIY only or send it to a lab for an additional fee). Could even turn this into a science fair project!

And since your kid who has allergies is experiencing ALLERGIES, you know unequivocally that it's due to mold?
