What's the best way for me to get back at someone who told me I was immature?

I came here to say this, too.

It's not, though. Trying to understand why you think this. . . . It may be vengeful, spiteful, and a host of other things but "immature" is not one that would come to my mind, as the OP describes.

There’s nothing “mature” about plotting revenge on a person who made a comment about you that you don’t like.

Be mature and let go of the anger.

Stick out your tongue at them when you see them next. That will show them.

Coming to say this - Recognize that your approach (best way to get back at someone..) is immature— time to grow up!

Been on dcum for a very long time and the posts that seem to be written by a middle school child are so common now.

Op tell us about yourself. Was this at school where you were called immature?

Yes, young poster, I think.

This is one of the better/subtler/more entertaining troll threads I've seen in a long time. Kudos!

Listen, some here at dcum will say your reaction betrays your immaturity, but not me. I get it. You want some kind of revenge. Step one: don't let this person catch a whiff of your anger about what they said. Revenge is a dish best served cold, so bide your time. As far is this person shoukd see, you have brushed the comment off...it didn't happen. Act cool. Neutral. Wait for your opportunity and get your revenge. I like humiliating the person in front of others, but you have to play it right so as not to look blatant. Good luck and report back.

Somebody saying something critical to you is not an act that requires 'revenge'.
