Annoying yard signs

We live in Fairfax County down the street from an elementary school. Our neighborhood has sidewalks with the grass strip on one side of the road (the same side as the school). Our house has no sidewalk and our lawn goes right to the curb. The school actually sticks signs in our lawn directing parents where to park for meetings, etc. So annoying to me.

If a sign is a one-day thing, shallow your outrage. Or even for a couple days. Otherwise, in the dark of night, I would pull it up, it mysteriously disappear.
