| Its completely insane to expect Alexandria families to go all the way out there for futsal. |
| I just checked, right now, its 45 minutes one way from my house to there. Hard PASS. What a dumb idea. |
Maybe use this as an opportunity for you kid to try another sport? Year round sports are really hard on knees and ankles. |

Arlington seems to be working on building a stronger futsal program this year. They may be another alternative for those who can’t make the travel to Maryland for Alexandria’s futsal program.

| St James has a futsal program too |
They do and it's terrible. BTDT. |
| TSJ Futsal is awful. One coach there (anyone who has played against him or spent anytime in TSJ facility knows who this is) is a colossal jerk. Shouts & yells at players during matches and only plays strongest players in tight matches in order to win. With Alexandria making a bizarre & costly decision to move their training to a facility in Maryland in not a great neighborhood, program that stands to gain the most is Arlington. Program brought in Sasha Filipi, currently assistant coach of USMNT & USWNT futsal teams, to help with the program. Expanding to all age groups this winter. Seems like a futsal program on the rise. |
Thanks Arlington Social media rep |
| My kid loved STJ futsal last year. They practice 2x a week. Games on weekends. The tournaments were a little disorganized and some they promised didn't happen because of that. But the actual games days at STJ or NZone were very organized. |
Same with my kid. Accurate description. |
Do you have a link? I can’t seem to find it for futsal. |
You’re welcome, Kurt. |
