I appreciate your response. However, I more angry that inspectors or MPD officers are nickel and dimeing long term residents of DC while crime is on the rise. I think DC should reassess how they deploy the cities resources. |
Umm, three cars windows were broken out, and the police choose to ticket cars that are legal parked while not investigating the cars that were broken into? OK. DC is being DC. |

I agree it's annoying. Cans are supposed to be stored on your property, but in practice just about everyone leaves them in the alley in where they're picked up and most of the time that's perfectly fine. In my case, an inspector was there because of another bad actor on the alley who was making a mess, and I got caught up in it when he issued citations for all violations on the block. |
