Best Aldi deals?

Cheeses, prosciutto, salami, olives, charcuterie board type things are really good and reasonable. Blueberry goat cheese is divine. German cookies and candies during the Christmas holidays are good. Some chocolates are good too. Stollen is good. Frozen soft pretzels are good. German frozen cakes and desserts are ok.

Their Mexican line is gross. Some things are hit or miss. Most are reasonable so you are not spending a lot even if it’s horrible.

+1

Especially now since Girl Scout cookies are now going to be $6/box!!!!

I know it's a donation, but still .... $6 is getting a little steep since the boxes are smaller now too.

Let's be honest. Girl Scout cookies are okay but they're not actually all that delicious. There's no point in buying them unless you are supporting a girl scout. Buying knock off girl scout cookies is just wrong.

I'm an Aldi expert because I grew up in Iowa, shopping at Aldi bc they've been in Iowa like 40 years. And then I married a German who also grew up shopping at Aldi. So we've both always shopped there.

Basically everything is cheaper there except "special buys." So buy anything you like and it will be cheaper.

The produce isn't meant to last forever. It's also incredibly cheap compared to other stores. I always understood, growing up, to eat berries first and to work out to apples, etc.

I bought a candle there yesterday that smells just like the candle I bought at Target last week. $4.49 vs $10

They have a decent cheese selection (Lidl is better because they have several sheep cheeses and real feta). Avocados, apples, nuts, chips, pasta sauce, organic ground beef.

I bought the norwegian crisp bread and while it was expensive I think it's a good deal as it is very filling with cheese for a girl dinner. Expensive for crackers but a great deal for a meal?
