It is not exclusive at all. Hundreds of kids get these invites. If you have the money and would like to send your kid on a solo vacation to Spain I would wait until he's about 14yr. old. Plenty of organizations in Spain and other European countries do these camps. You can always reach out to them as well, you don't need a special invite to most. My son played Travel and received lots of invitations from the age of 9 until he was 16 when he quit the sport. |
It’s great experience for the kids. I would go with our kids Who cars if it’s 5k or 10. |
It’s a question. Doesn’t deserve this response. |
Why suckers if families want the experience? |
Did your son attend any - how was it? |
Some people here think anything that costs money is somehow a scam or trick. These same people pay handsomely to go on cruise ships and disney world and summer camps and concerts and the grand canyon. But if it involves soccer it’s for suckers. |
Makes sense. Kind of like when playing ocean course and we get caddies even though we are not great golfers. |
The summer camp was fun. The coaches were friendly and taught more than physical soccer/football. Also respect and mindfulness. |
Do they have a camp in Virginia or is it in only? |
They had one at episcopal high school in Alexandria last week. I dont see another this summer. |
Sounds fun |
Did you go? How was it? |

What you mentioned are vacation and advertising as such. These camps are advertised as “invitation only” soccer camp when in fact rec kids do get invited the same. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s a fun experience if you can afford it but your kid isn’t coming back a different soccer player from these trips. |
My son is 6 years old also got selected in one of the USA Real Madrid camps and I don’t know if it’s worth it for him or not. |
