| Bowser is promoting the new stadium - what else were you expecting? |
Like when it snows here and drivers seem to think that means traffic laws are suspended. |
Drivers also think that when it doesn't snow. |
It’s not social justice- it’s understanding that the city has limited resources and you live in a less-dense area. So you may not get the city services first. |
| Drivers are cutting through residential streets at incredibly high speeds as they try to get from one place to another. People really need to go back to driving school. It's quite dangerous out there. |

Here is an interactive map of roads impacted by the storm:
https://dcgis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=336a93123020405bb4169c1e465be3f2 I think this map shows that the upper Northwest folks have a legitimate case. There are hardly any issues outside of that area. |
| The GW Parkway was still blocked all of yesterday, which seems insane 24 hours+ after the tree fell. |
Yeah... There was virtually no damage on the Hill. The only one of the incidents on that map I walked past is very minor (small tree split, but still upright; probably wouldn't cause damage even if it fell) and not blocking traffic. |

We got hit hard but the crews were out and the roads cleared. Our area of had 1300 people without power. Power was out about 9 hours.
I think people are just use to instant responses. It takes time and the crews prioritize the largest number of people and main roads. A few blocks away there was a transformer fire. Those people will be without power till Tuesday. If this has been an area wide storm, we would have been without power for 4-6 days |
Considering we fund the dc government through income taxes and property taxes, I wouldn't mind a quick fix... Bethesda is looking better and better! Our friends had their power restored in a few hours and their neighborhood looked like a warzone. |
But I keep reading on DCUM that Bethesda is a hellhole and Montgomery County is imploding...? |
| I loved raising my kids in DC, and they loved it too, but I will tell them to move to Bethesda to raise their own families. Between the ridiculously bad public schools, the crime, and the Council's unconsidered progressive leanings, it's time to go elsewhere. We need Tony Williams 2.0. |

| Are you new here? |
Jeff, where did you find this map? It's exactly what I was looking for! I've been detouring all over the place trying to drop off and pick up my kids! |
