DP. However, this is learned behavior and likely created by the parents not doing a decent job of parenting the kids when they were young and adolescent. People rarely change completely between adolescence and adulthood. Other than the phase of sulky, angsty teenager, most people have the same type of personality in their youth as they have as an adult, barring some major emotional incident contributing to a personality change.
