I got sucked into the 8Passengers drama.

The mom joined a cult (basically) and has now alienated herself from her parents, siblings, her husband, and 1 or 2 of her kids.

The family went from posting multiple times per day on YouTube and being very successful there to nothing. No social media except for what the mom posts on the cult's website as an Admin.

I had never watched this family but I was sucked in! Very interesting and sad.

a colleague in Jacksonville mentioned he knows ppl that are living in their parents basement, broke, but manage/prioritize 3 Disney trips a year. it's bonkers. what else is there to see? why the frequent visits?

Its pretty obvious to me. Their lives suck, going to Disney makes them happy (maybe even transports them psychologically to feeling young again, when life was exciting and full of possibilities...and they weren't going to be broke adults living in their parents basements)>

Professional ballet dancers. There’s a whole sub theme of breaking in new point shoes. It’s oddly satisfying to watch. And now they always pop up in suggests reels.
