I'm sorry, I know it's gross, and I could only do it when my DH was set because if the smell, but ... sardines in mustard on Wasa bread. Tinned salmon and diced pickles over rice with sour sauce. Smoked herring and cream cheese on Melba toast.

I like it stinky, crunchy, and salty. (That is indeed what she said!)
