Same in the Midwest in the 90s. |
Ummm do you have teens? They use all kinds of words for all kinds of innocuous stuff. |
And they keep it all very private from us parents. |
My kid likes to test me on kid/teen slang. The words seriously make no sense to me. |
gnome stoners? |
Me? No, I'm far too busy with my pre-algebra exam! |
| Mine doesn’t even know what cannabis is. |
| My niece calls it the devil’s lettuce but as a joke. |
|
I feel like most of the people posting here have never partaken of cannabis.
It’s pizza, dudes. Why? Because you can get a slice (1/8), or two slices (1/4), or four slices (1/2), or the whole pie. |
|
Wait, no one called it ganja/ganj growing up?
|
Why not just call marijuana, “marijuana?” |
| So do they still call it pot? |
|
54 and FXCO for a lifetime. Just for fun and feeling incredibly old…
It was always pot in the 80s. Weed is what old hippies called it. Your parents would say grass and you’d laugh. Kids would light up a doobie/doob or smoke a bowl or take bong hits. Are bongs a thing anymore? The hard core “druggies” were called Burn Outs or Druggies, while the college bound kids who did the same (and maybe coke and lots of beer) were called Partiers. And no, at my HS, these were two distinct groups with little crossover. The burn outs all hung out together in the smoking lounge at the outside of the school and were in vo tech. |

I just asked my kid.
Zaza and weed. That's what they're using. |
