No honey, he's just rich.

I’m so happy for her. She could’ve gone the surrogate way and chose to carry herself. Praying this pregnancy is easier for her.

Congratulations are in order for the legendary tennis star Serena Williams (41) and her husband Alexis Ohanian. The couple revealed on the Met Gala red carpet that they were expecting a baby.

Beautiful couple!

I had a kid at 42 naturally after two months of trying. And am not a world class athlete by any stretch. Conversely there are women in their 20s and 30s struggling. There are pluses and minuses in both approaches. I’m against egg donation and surrogacy, so wouldn’t have gone that route. Good for her.

He is such a dork

You have decent odds of getting pregnant naturally at 41, especially if you’ve already had a kid. Maybe the gap is because she nearly died the first time + who knows if they’ve been trying for awhile (she is, after all, 41).

+1 why’d she wait so long? Oh yeah. She tried to revive her tennis career. I knew after her first it would disappear.

Early 40’s is not too old for celebs come on.

Yes, it is. And then the baby is often born with complications or they miscarry and we have to get this deluge of sob stories shoved in our faces.

Wow. You are one defective human. And I say that as someone who had all 3 of my kids well before 40 (in fact I’m not even 40).

Nobody really cares about your babies or pregnancies. The PP mentioned about old celebs. And just one example would be Kimmel, who left his first long-term wife to marry a show staffer. I'm sure he never slept with her before divorcing. She was nearly 40 yo when they had baby, when he already had adult kids himself. The baby had health complications, which went viral, then we had to see him exploit it and make a viral production about and tie it to Obama-care. So instead of him being a sleazebag cheating on his wife, we're supposed to feel sorry for him for marrying some younger staffer and having complications with their IVF babies.

If you think this explanation makes you seem like less of a defective human, you’re wrong.

Check out the Hilary Swank thread. Many people are against women having children at 42.. you’re against somethings other people are against others. No one’s ever totally happy I guess.
