They don’t call it “cheese,” they call it “Cheese Whiz.” Cheese Whiz and Easy Cheese are two separate products. Both are made from cheese; I believe the side of the labels say something like “processed cheese food.”

My grandmother used to make me a snack of wheat thins with spray cheese and half a cherry tomato in the center. She would serve it on one her her “good” plates with apple juice in a teacup and call it high tea. I thought it was the height of sophistication. I haven’t thought of it in years but it makes miss her to remember how special it made me feel. I should make it for my kids, who never knew her. OP, thanks for taking me back to such a sweet memory.

For me, it was Twinkies. I was so excited to eat one as an adult and it was revolting. Some memories are better left as, well...memories.

I had to google it. I have never had Easy Cheese, but liked Cheese Whiz as a kid. Yummy.
