Do LTC care have pay out caps?

True as a previous poster mentioned, you need someone to manage making sure the reimbursements happen. It’s more work than you’d think.

Also, unless a CNA, they do not accept just anyone for the caregiver to get paid.


Believe the caregiver is a CNA now studying for RN.

Thanks for tip about long time for pay outs as well as daily and max caps.

This plan was bought a long time ago, so am guessing more generous than many of the newer ones.

Does "a plan" cover a couple or is it more likely that FiL and MiL both have plans?

As I've mentioned earlier, MiL has been fairly forthcoming about many money matters but this is where she has not been as forthcoming. We are going to visit them in a few weeks and hope to learn more, including reading the policy. That said, comments from many posters here have been quite helpful.
