If you are over 50 and in great shape would you wear any kind of cropped top

No, but I'm not desperate.

A little skin peeking through, sure, for an outdoorsy activity. One of those crop tops that isn't really any different from a bra, nope.

I'm actually eyeing a pair of wide leg pants right now but know it would look better with a very fitted or cropped shirt, and that's my hesitation.

No, but I have never worn a crop top in my life. When I see guys / girls in everyday outfits that show their stomachs, I just don't like that look and have zero desire to show that much skin in daily life activities.

At the gym or the beach - sure.

I am 43 and have several tops that are “cropped” and fitted but the end at my natural waist and I pair with high waist wide leg pants or midi length or full length skirts. It makes a fantastic long line and is spinning and feminine. I don’t show my belly ever and if there is a bit of skin between to top of my bottom clothing and the bottom of my top, it is minimal and not consistent, only shows when I move arms or body a lot. I don’t know how much longer I’ll wear these types of tops but for now, I find them fun, comfortable and attractive.

I wear a bikini so sure. I don’t … not really because I haven’t found one I love.

I do have crop tees but they don’t show my belly.

PP here- Slimming not slipping. Also, I wear my outfits similar to this lady but she has much more skin showing than I would. My tops end about the top of the skirt.

I think this lady looks adorable and these are the kind of crop tops I would wear.

Maybe not desperate, but definitely mean. Run along now.

LOL. Me too.

IDK.. even if I had very toned abs, I'm not sure I'd wear a crop top. It does seem a bit desperate.

I'm 52. It's not like I only wear frumpy clothes. I do wear form fitting clothes, and sometimes in the summer, I go braless (I'm small chested, and at least my boobs aren't sagging). I'm super petite so I can shop in the juniors section, and I buy some of the tops, but nothing that screams "I'm 22".

I would not count those as crop tops. The crop tops I see young women wearing show a lot more skin without the person raising their arms. They are pretty tiny.

You actually sound desperate for other peoples approval.

Same, but I’m ok even if it consistently shows skin..as long as the gap is small, say under an inch.

I have cut crop tops. I'm 53. They are not like the kids would wear, but look cute.

You had me until the end. I have never worm one or a bikini. My tween doesn’t either. We do not believe in the statement. Who wants that attention?
