The realtor recently picked up a thesaurus

The random use of capacious makes me think the realtor watches Succession lol.

They posted a bunch more pictures. No way this house goes for $2.8M. What say you, DCUM? Final sale price?

I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with this house. Maybe because the whole neighborhood lived with the 5+ years of construction? But…

It’s been the market for over a month. Listed at $2.8M. And they haven’t mowed the grass. Not once. The whole lawn has gone to seed. I can’t imagine anyone with that kind of money drives up to that and doesn’t just drive away without going inside?

What's with the tiny, unenclosed shower in pic 32?

I do like then there is a large shower that has a tub (enclosed) but are they looking at the whole bathroom as a wet room?

Stopped scrolling when I saw the kitchen. I cannot believe anyone is still building with a one foot gap over kitchen cabinets.

Genuinely curious .. how does one identify cheap vs not-cheap based upon pictures ?

An eye for design and knowledge of current appliances makes it easy. So much about this house says cheap. But not the price tag. This is a perfect example of why I have strong feelings about new construction in this area. Big ticket, low quality, no design training.

The house looks nice - I mean, they had 5 years to get it right - but the description? It’s like the realtor handed a 5th grader a thesaurus and asked for maximum adjectives.

They sure do love using the words luxury/luxurious -- I counted 6 times in the description.

This screams chat GPT to me. I’m seeing unnecessarily flowery or wordy language daily now and it’s becoming obvious. It’s a chore to read so I think it’s backfiring.
