Do performances ever make you cry - not because they’re sad?

I paid for amazing seats to see Book of Mormon and for the entire play I either had a sh*t-eating grin spread across my face or was crying. It was so distinct that I saw one actor nudge another and point me out to him during a group number. I wanted to be a performer when I was growing up, and had the talent for it but was beyond heavily discouraged, and it fills my heart to overflowing to see other people living out that dream. I get So happy for them and So sad for myself and if you think I don't belt out Broadway songs at home you'd be wrong.

Auld Lang Syne makes me cry every time I hear it.

It’s like watching someone turn into superman, I love it.

I just watched this. It didn’t make me cry but damn, that kid does indeed have chops! And it never hurts to ask for what you want. A lesson for us all!

I cried watching Nomadland in a movie theater because of how beautiful the sugar beets being harvested looked! Just great operator work
