Gaithersburg High School also had a full lockdown after dismissal. Seemingly a separate incident, also one off of school property.

The 18 year old was named, Demari Brown, but not the 16 year old. Not sure if the 18 yo is still an MCPS student but the 16 year old likely is.

Ok, nevermind. It appears Demari Brown is a current MCPS student and is a senior at Watkins Mill High School. But he is no longer on the football team and played last year.

I wonder if he was booted from the football team due to poor grades or misbehavior which might have led him down this tragic path. Sad.
