Potential Puerto Rico planning with two kids ages 7-9 - exhausted after

You guys with younger kids are lucky to have eager travellers.

I (the husband) proposed a beach vacation to Puerto Rico next Winter Break. Our 15 year old decided she doesn't want to go and called her mother a "garbage human being" for suggesting it might be fun.

Your husbands lazy it’s not hard to plan this trip give me a break. It can be done in an hour if he just sits down and does it.

Oh, man, I feel you. At one point there was a thread about how our teens are driving us nuts. Mine has refused to go on family vacation this year. Another reason to be mad about the pandemic is that I lost that last year or so when she was excited to go places with us. (And we hadn’t travelled too much before that because of her younger siblings nap/sleep schedules.).

Sorry to say I think this is a specific to you problem. My teen DDs love traveling with us and are excited to go anywhere. We also share (gasp!) a hotel room with 2 Queen beds with no issues because we are on a budget. I hope your daughter was disciplined for speaking to her mother that way. Bet her "garbage human being" mother pays for her cell phone. My DDs wouldn't dare.
