I saw her 20+ years ago, I think many are going to see what she could possibly do now and not seem like a Grandma acting foolish.
But then again, Cher is still rocking her Bob Mackie dresses in her 70s to an adoring following

Cher was the original!

Madonna was great, but she is holding onto "it" the wrong way. No suggestions here.

I heard Madonna made fans wait for 2.5 hours at her last DC area show and throughout that tour, for her to arrive onstage. NOT cool.

Really? I saw him last year and it was an incredible performance. He sang for 2.5 hours with barely a break. Sure, he missed a couple of notes but you barely noticed because he’s such a showman.

+1

Didn't see his last tour, but have seen him a few times over the decades, and he was always great. Quite a showman!

I don't think this was always the case but Aerosmith was really disappointing live last year. I'm thinking more to do with age

Oh my god. We saw smash mouth a few years ago. The lead singer was falling down drunk most of the show. It was before his retirement . Or whatever happened to him.

He has to be carried. Physical carried, off the stage he was so drunk. I guess they sang over auto tune. 🤔

This is helpful to know, won’t waste my time and $, especially when seats are pricey.

Funny, I've seen him 2x and he was great! I thought Madonna was very underwhelming.

Oops - this referred to John Mellencamp!

There's no riffing, no commentary, no extended songs, no surprise covers, no dancing, no deviation whatsoever from the recording you have on Spotify.

The best way to describe a Chris Stapleton concert is that it sounds exactly like a quality studio recording. Which is fine, but if $200 a ticket is a stretch, and sitting in parking lot for 40 minutes waiting to exit is a drag, you can skip this experience. You've already heard it.

OK, this is actually totally correct- sounds EXACTLY like the album - but I did enjoy hearing/seeing his lovely wife singing with him. And his voice is INSANE.

The recent Coldplay live theater show from Buenos Aires was really good. I’d love to see them in person.

Literally have no idea who Chris Stapleton is. Good on him for getting $200 a ticket to hear him.

Every TikTok-famous DJ who lives in his mother's basement and writes hate songs about women. Don't go to these losers' shows.

Based on this thread, it's amazing how little about current music a bunch of middle aged moms seem to know.
