What are your must have dishwasher features?

Do dishes really dry? I hate having to hand dry the dishes, even after they’ve been sitting. As pp mentioned, Kitchen Aid is good for this (it has heating elements on all sides, not just the bottom) but my Miele does a good job, as well.

Which Miele do you have? Mine is older and does not dry as well as my previous Bosch or Kitchenaid. Otherwise, it is quiet, incredibly reliable, and efficient.

surprised no one mentioned that some pop open when they're done. I guess it helps finish the drying process.
