How did this idiot get through 4 years as president and never hear that we have a whole agency called the Missile Defense Agency whose sole purpose is to build and maintain a missile defense system? It's been in place for decades and has a budget of nearly ten billion annually.

It just doesn't matter. Just like him saying that he's going to have parents elect school principals. The press just puts it out there and treats it like it's a legitimate policy proposal.

I wish we'd import the some of the British press here. They know how to ask a question and also aren't afraid to call out something ludicrous as ludicrous.
