Best romantic comedy or comedy movie to watch?

Any of the rom-coms written and directed by Nancy Meyers: Something's Gotta Give, It's Complicated, The Holiday.

Bonus, these work for us "older" DCUMers, too

Anonymous wrote:I like a bunch of older ones:
Sleepless in Seattle
You've Got Mail
Pretty Woman
Serendipity
The Princess Bride
My Best Friend's Wedding
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Tootsie
Sabrina (I happen to like the remake with Harrison Ford and Julia Ormand best)

And one of my favorites (probably because I'm Chinese and so many stereotypes in the movie ring true): The Wedding Banquet

I love, love, love The Wedding Banquet. I do despair at these being called "older ones"

Sorry about that. I'm in my 50's and on DCUM, I often feel "old". So I tend to frame things that way here. I had children late, and I have relatively young children, so IRL, when I hang out with parents of my children's friends and schoolmates, I am also one of the oldest parents there. Ah well, having kids late, they are keeping me young.

PP, you are not alone!

I also like Palm Springs. I'll add Always Be My Maybe. The superstar cameo is perfect.

Ha! I'm the PP you're responding to and after I posted about Palm Springs, I thought, "Oh, I should have mentioned Always Be My Maybe too!" And, yes, loooved the cameo.
