Door dash lunch delivery?

I don’t think any FCPS schools allow food delivery services, yet the news story posted earlier today demonstrates how food is smuggled into schools.

OP definitely has some money to burn.

I’m shocked so many kids are clamoring for junk. Really, my kids teetered on very much not eating at school all day because they didn’t want to use the bathroom and didn’t want to gain weight.

Many private schools have dominos or chick fila days, if they had decent and well-known sponsored lunch options I think students would not eat out.

This isn’t hard, I pack hot lunch for my middle schooler all 5 days of the week, I pack it in thermos, warm it with hot water first.

My lunches are awesome, don’t mean to be rude but if your kid cares this much for a hot lunch then you need to get creative and make the effort.

Mine will be having hot chicken pasta aglio olio tomorrow with a side of cherry tomatoes/ bell peppers tossed in olive oil, feta cheese and a dash of lime + homemade chocolate chip cookie.

What? Your kids starved themselves for fear of gaining weight? That’s disordered eating.

Is OP a troll who dug up the old thread?

How big/heavy is that? How do you even pack that?

Isn't it gross to have a hot non-soup meat on warmers for hours? Isn't that a bacteria risk?

I expect idiot kids to do this. But everyone forgets that a lot of idiot kids grow up to be idiot parents.

So entitled and lacking self awareness! Money to burn, too.

And do you really want your kid to be “that kid”?

Spoiled, entitled, and tone-deaf.
And of course schools don’t want random people showing up with deliveries. That’s insane.

DP but look up Zojirushi lunch jars. If used correctly, they really do keep hot food hot for hours. My MS daughter prepares herself a lunch every day and it is still hot when she eats it.
