Which EA decisions will come out today (1/20/23)?

I heard anecdotally that Michigan historically has deferred most EA apps submitted after 10/15, even though EA application not due until 11/1. Anyone else hear (or experience) this? logic being too many apps to get through.. I hope that’s not the case lol

This was not the case for my DS last cycle.

But those past few years they did not extend their decisions date to 2/15. That has only happened this year.

Yes. Surprisingly, DD is in!
Not super high stats (4.26) but took a very rigorous course load and full IB. Stem focused.
ECs were strong.

This was not the case for OOS DD last cycle (4.5, 1530) for School of LSA as she was admitted and applied very close to deadline. DS applied 2 years earlier (also close to deadline) for CS with even higher stats and was deferred and ultimately rejected (I'm guessing yield protection).
