Well the OP asked for new and different ideas, so that's what I was offering. I think the baked Brie and pigs in pastry are tasty but done all the time. I've served these bacon wrapped Gorgonzola dates in different situations and I've never had leftovers!


As long as you warn people about the Gorgonzola, that’s fine. I hate when I try something assuming it will be a normal or mild tasting food and it’s something very strong. Cheeses like this should not be a surprise! Same with spicy foods, and I love spicy food!
