Yeah! I know. But, the best part of aging here is that we age so well comparatively.

She is very normal looking for her age for an Indian woman.
Unlike most Indian aunties though, she is heavily made up (I bet very uneven skin tone) to cover her undereye dark circles and her hair is dyed black.

Yes, we all have nice hair thanks to genetics (individual strands are very thick), regular weekly hair oil massage and keeping away from styling products and hot hair tools. SO even when it turns gray, if we just style it and color it, it looks good.

Our skin does not crack, sag or wrinkle...however, we usually have dark circles and uneven skin coloring that most of us do not even make any attempt to cover. Indian women do not wear concealer or makeup. Aruna is wearing a lot of makeup and yes, good for her.

Her skin is absolutely cracked, sagging, and wrinkled. Not in a bad way. Not in an unsightly way. But of course all of these traits are visible.

You can also see grays around her temples. Come on people, put your glasses on. She looks perfectly fine for her age but she's not fooling anyone.

Truthfully, she doesn't look a day over 57.

OP was fooled. Why does she think she looks 30?

She looks 15 years younger than her age but I see I am more generous than others. Me and dh always play this game where we he Insists someone looks an age, I disagree and we google. He is a bit harsh generally so often loses.

Wow- what a difference in the other photos pps posted. They don’t even look like the same person as the one in the original post. That photo could be of her granddaughter or daughter. Shows you how much people use filters and photo editing.

Thanks for making me laugh!

Yes. Dying!

I’m sure she’s doing the best she can, like all of us.

But… are you? Look at her sagging neck, deeply creased eyes, sagging jawline… if you’re aging like her I’d say you’re aging normally compared to anything.

+1. I agree I think she looks much younger than her age in original post, but in the subsequent photos people posted- she looks her age if not older.

Yes, but it is because she has crooked teeth and her underbite was not fixed. Usually we associate that with younger kids who have not had braces yet. She is very pretty nevertheless and definitely looks younger.

She doesn’t have an underbite.

Yeah I don't get 30s from these pics. She looks good for 58.

Middle aged Indian Aunty here. Aruna Miller definitely looks her age but she has great hair that looks like it belongs to someone 20 years younger.

While melanin helps when it comes to aging, it all boils down to lifestyle and genetics. I have a SIL and a cousin who are the same age as her and look way younger than their age. My SIL is a health nut and always had a very healthy diet and she’s reaping that in how she looks now as she’s pushing 60. My cousin on the other hand takes very much after her father who has no wrinkles even in his late 80s, their side of the family has great skin and they all looks 10-15 years younger in age

Folks, she is 58. I am in disbelief. Disbelief. I can't process how she is 58. In every photo of her I can find she looks like she could have been AOC's college roommate. Wow.

She looks pretty good for 58: her skin is good, her teeth are good, her hair is glossy. But she doesn’t look “young” to me and that’s absolutely ok, you can look beautiful at any age.

Topic for debate/discussion: how do you feel about the brows? I am very pro thick eyebrows. I think they make a person look more youthful. I feel like I look years younger when I let my eyebrows grow thicker (I have very full bushy eyebrows naturally).

I generally like thicker brows, but not here. They look a little unkempt and are so low on her face it looks like they're almost touching her eyelids when with a resting face.

That’s because you are so used to looking at 58 year old women who have had brow lifts. This is normal aging.
