So is it not going to snow at ALL this winter?

I'm as concerned about climate change as you are, but this is not how it works.

Strange pattern the last few years where we’ve had mild winters with rain but Texas keeps getting hit with brutal low temps and ice / snow. Feels like we switched winters with them.

We are in Frederick, which usually is just enough west and north of DC that cold rain/sleet in DC is usually snow for us. We have had two dusting of snow this winter- nothing measurable.

Even if you don’t like snow and cold weather, we can probably all agree that this year’s warm winter, and the preceding mild winters is cause for concern.

It’s summer and then one big glob of some other ninseasons season in the DMV. Global warming. Yet another reason why the DMV sucks beyond human comprehension.

I have relatives in Oklahoma (yeah, yeah I know) and they had two snowfalls this year already plus some ice/road coatings.

No snow in sight, and only a few days in the 40s where the night low temperatures just maybe might be low enough for snow but no precipitation forecasted. This winter is lame. At the same time I'm afraid that after a mild winter we'll have one snowstorm at the end of March like when all the poor cherry blossoms are trying to bloom.

Pretty normal for this area.

I could care less about winter snow and honestly it's not like we all can't go in the office to work if there's snow - wouldn't it be more work to shovel? What is concerning to me is there is so much warmth and whether this summer we will bake. The humidity and thought of all summer being 90-100 degrees is a lot more concerning to me. The heat is so bad over summer that if it feels like spring in winter WTF will happen over summer???!

80 degrees in February.

We have actually more 70+ days this winter than days with snow.

I hate it. Makes me miss Boston. Almost, not really.

There was a snake in my front yard today. Crazy!

There was a winter over ten years ago really similar to this… winter of 11-12, almost no snow and really mild. I remember it because we moved (locally) that winter, and the weather cooperated at every stage of our home sale/purchase and then move.
