I had a fireplace in a couple of houses and loved it. It was nice to turn it on while getting ready for bed, then using the remote to turn it off before falling asleep. It added a nice ambiance to the room and warmed it up quickly in cold weather.

BTW, my favorite master suite feature that I want to have again is separate his/her bathrooms and closets. I loved it.
