What special dish did you make over the holidays?

Beef tenderloin. It was the first time I've made it because the meat is so dang expensive. Pretty good, though.

Homemade eggnog - twice. It was good but overall not worth the effort.

A duck and goose mincemeat pie for NYE. It was really good…a rich brown red wine sauce and puff pastry crust….so good but definitely decadent.
