Two weeks after my 29th birthday.
#1 was four years old at the time, and #2 was 2.5 years old. |
Expecting #3 now. I’ll be 37 at the projected due date. |
Had my 3 at 30, 32, and 37. |
They were all pretty good. My #3 was the hardest delivery. Epidural only worked on one side, baby was sunny side up. Was rough. But when I had #4 at 38, everything was smooth and easy. So there wasn't a trend of worsening, just a crappy anesthesiologist I guess. |
I had my three when I was 35, 36 (almost 37), and 39.5. All very similar in terms of difficulty, easy recoveries with all three. The only real issue I had with all three was hyperemesis, which sucked but was manageable with meds. |
Never lol what am I crazy?! Two and done. |
35. I told myself that I wouldn't do it after 35 and I snuck number 3 in right at the deadline. Siblings were 7 and 2. |
To add, first pregnancy was the hardest. Second was not bad, although I was sick longer...didn't gain as much weight. Third was the best. I gained very little weight as I was so busy working and running around after the other two. Delivery was hard as it was a scheduled C and the epidural failed so I was put under. But other than that, the third was the easiest pregnancy and the easiest baby. |
We had our third kid after the second one. |
I was 36. I don’t think 38 is too old at all- I know lots of first time moms having kids at 38 or older. |
26, 33, and 36. |
37 |
Well, I've been pregnant with #4-8 for the better part of a year and half. Still no live child for #3 at 37. |
My parents went for a second when my mom was 38 and dad was 43 and they got twins.
38 would be too old for me personally but I had my kids at 26 and 28 so I was basically shunned and made to feel like a pregnant 16yo in DCUM land ![]() |
I was 29, 31 and 34 (2 months shy of 35).
Pregnancies: First and second pregnancies were very similar: 2 girls, I was active, traveled, did sports, gained same amount of weight, etc. third pregnancy was much harder. It was a boy, I had lot of pains (my pubic bone separated when I was 6 months pregnant), everything hurt. I still tried to exercise, but stopped completely at 7 months. Gained a lot more weight and was just miserable. Deliveries: First was hardest because I was induced and after 2 days had a C section. Was exhausted and drained. Second and third deliveries were planned C sections so easy. Recovery: All 3 recoveries were easy. Took me a little longer the third time to lose all the weight, but I had gained more. Babies: First was easiest (not now that she is tween) and we went progressively downhill. My third was/is by far the hardest… but also the only boy so… who knows… Good luck! By DCUM 38 is not old for a first kid so definitely not too old for a third. |
