Just wait it out. The good thing about this kind of chemistry is that it tends to fade over time if not acted on. (Actually, it tends to fade even if acted upon, as most married people know, so I guess either way. ) Try not to be too cold and nasty, but even if you are, you can probably smooth it over on the back end.

Yeah even the big intense crushes (limerence) usually fade over time. Ride it out and at some point you’ll feel nothing when you see him.

Also people don’t stay that long at jobs nowadays so you might actually end up being separated anyway
