We came from a public and those parents were much wealthier overall than St. Pat's. St. Pat's is much more down-to-earth than our local public.

That's probably not the case. You are just not included on their private jet rides.

Bumping this thread from a few days ago because I'm so impressed with St. Pats! We are going through the PK application process right now and it was a last minute add to our list based upon a co-workers recommendation...and we've been blown away. Every interaction has been warm and positive with admissions, feels very personal and like they already know our kid. A few others schools feel like they put no effort into selling themselves beyond "we know we're a great school, you should want to go here," where St. Pats is selling me even when we haven't gotten in yet. I like that they know now that this decision is a two-way street and are putting the effort in early. And it's working!

Fingers crossed we get a good answer from them in March but even just feeling like an individual in this crazy process and like they care has been so nice. They just seem like fundamentally nice caring people.

Any pros or cons. And how inclusive are they.

Is it more conservative- or more liberal-leaning?

I don’t know if anyone who has not gotten in. You will get in & if for some reason you’re waitlisted, you’ll definitely get off the wl bc many apply to st pats as backup and turn down the spot when they get in elsewhere

Is that true? If it’s easy to get into, it is not good? Now I’m concerned about outplacement. Our first choice is NPS.

Check out st pat website for info on last years outplacement. Very impressive.
