Correct. And on small-bodied people this does not tend to lessen with age, which it does on larger people.

Does anyone know what the thing PP mentioned which helps with small breasts is called? I’d like to be able to ask for it by name. I had a terrible experience a decade ago and haven’t been badk.

I have small VERY dense breasts. My mamos are very uncomfortable but 100% worth it.

I go to Washington Radiology in fairfax and they put some tray thing in to help with my smaller breasts.

In Maryland, you don’t need a doctor’s order. Not sure about DC/VA.

Take some Tylenol or Advil before the procedure. For me they are very painful, but a mammogram saved my life by early detection of BC. So I will gladly suffer through something I do dread and find super painful. Good luck!!
